We offer an engaging internship program designed to provide college students with hands-on experience in their chosen field of study. This structured program offers a unique opportunity for students to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world business environment, gain valuable industry insights, and develop professional skills that will set them apart in their careers.
 

Program Duration & Schedule

  • Typically lasts 12 weeks and can be scheduled in the fall, spring or summer semesters.
  • Interns will work 10-30 hours per week.
  • Interns are paid an hourly rate of $15.
  • The schedule will be determined based on the student’s class schedule and the internship’s focus. 

Internship Tracks

  • Accounting/Finance: Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis.
  • Branch Operations: Gain exposure to frontline roles that are essential to delivering exceptional member service and supporting daily branch activities. Key learning areas include teller services, consumer lending, and call center member support.
  • Human Resources: Support talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR compliance initiatives.
  • Information Technology: Work on help desk support, troubleshooting, system administration, and security monitoring.
  • Marketing: Contribute to brand awareness strategies, social media management, content creation, and market research.
  • Underwriting: Analyze financial documents, assess risk factors, and assist in loan underwriting processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited community college or university program related to the internship track as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.3.
  • Ability to work 10-30 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional setting.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
